Sinohydro Hybrid Facility Construction Accommodation Camp near Sutherland, Northern Cape Province

Sinohydro is proposing a construction accommodation camp as part of the approved Hybrid and Wind Energy Facilities in the Northern and Western Cape Province. The proposed accommodation camp, however, is located within the Karoo Hoogland Local Municipality and Namakwa District Municipality.

The proposed development is located op Portion 1 of the Farm Windheuvel No. 190. The town of Sutherland is located approximately 48km northeast of the accommodation camp. The accommodation camp will comprise an area of approximately 5 hectares and will be temporary accommodation solution for construction workers during the construction phase of the Hybrid and Wind Energy Facilities in the area.
