Thebelele BESS Grid Connection Infrastucture near Theunissen, Free State Province.
Thebelele Energy Facility (RF) (Pty) Ltd is proposing the development of single / double circuit 33/132 kV Lines and 33/132 kV substations. These will be assessed within a corridor situated on Portions 0 of the Farm Mooivlakte No. 199, Portion 0 of the Farm Rondehoek No. 200, Portion 14 of the Farm Weltevreden No. 443; Portions 0 (Remaining Extent), Portion 5 and 21 of the Farm Doorn Rivier No.330. The project is to be situated within the Masilonyana Local Municipality, Lejweleputswa District Municipality, with the town of Theunissen located approximately 20 km south of the proposed development
The substations will have a footprint of up to 1ha whilst the power lines will be assessed within an up to 500m wide corridor, with a length of ~14 km.
