Proposed Bakerville Collector Substation with Electrical Grid Infrastructure to Watershed MTS and Associated Infrastructure near Lichtenburg, North West Province
Kutlwano Solar Power Plant (RF) (Pty) Ltd proposes the development of the proposed Bakerville Collector Substation and 132kV grid infrastructure to Watershed MTS comprising the construction of two single circuit grid lines at a length of approximately 11km as part of the authorised Boitumelo, Lerato and Kutluwano Solar Power Plants, on Portion 4 the Farm Houthaaldoorns No. 2; Portion 2, 6 and 5 of the Farm Zamekomst No. 4; Portion 10 and the Remaining Extent of Portion 1 of the Farm Lichtenburg Town and Townlands No. 27; Remaining Extent of Portion 41 of the Farm Elandsfontein No. 34; the Farm Priem No. 30; Portion 25 of the Farm Houthaalbomen No. 31, Registration Division IP.
The town of Lichtenburg is located approximately 5-15 km south of the proposed development situated within the Ditsobotla Local Municipality, Ngaka Modiri Molema District.
