The proposed Pumba Solar Power Plant near Mokopane, Limpopo Province

Pumba Solar Power Plant (RF) (Pty) Ltd is proposing the development of a Photovoltaic Solar Energy Facility within the Modimolle-Mookgopong and Mogalakwena Local Municipalities, Limpopo Province.

The proposed development is located on the Farm Vlakpan No. 136. The town of Mokopane is located approximately 21 km north of the proposed development. The solar PV facility will comprise several arrays of PV panels and associated infrastructure and will have a generation capacity of up to 250MW. An area op approximately 790 hectares is under assessment as part of the development.
