The proposed Nigiri Solar Power Plant near Mokopane, Limpopo Province

Nigiri Solar Power Plant (RF) (Pty) Ltd is proposing the development of a Photovoltaic Solar Energy Facility within the Modimolle-Mookgopong and Mogalakwena Local Municipalities, Limpopo Province.

The proposed development is located on the Remaining tent of the Farm Doelen No. 327. The town of Mokopane is located approximately 21 km north of the proposed development. The solar PV facility will comprise several PV arrays and associated infrastructure and will have a generation capacity of up to 150MW. An area of approximately 360 hectares is under assessment as part of the development.
