Kingston Solar Photovoltaic Solar Energy Facility near Bothaville, Free State Province.

Kingston Solar (Pty) Ltd is proposing the construction of a photovoltaic (PV) Solar Energy Facility within the Moqhaka Local Municipality and the Fezile Dani District Municipality.

The proposed development is located on Potion 0 of the Farm Kingston No. 607, Portion 0 of the Farm Paynesvale No. 608 and Portion 0 of the Farm Klippan No. 377, located approximately 17km northeast of the town of Bothaville, in the Free State Province. The solar PV facility will comprise several arrays of PV panels and associated infrastructure and will have a contracted capacity of up to 160MW. The proposed Kingsol Solar will cover an area of approximately 255 hectares.
