Bothaville Solar Photovoltaic Solar Energy Facility and Grid Connection Infrastructure near Bothaville Free State Province.

Bothaville Solar (Pty) Ltd is proposing the construction of a photovoltaic (PV) solar energy facility within the Napa Local Municipality and the Lejweleputswa District Municipality.

The proposed development is located and traverses the Remaining Extent, Portion 2, Portion 3 and Portion 10 of the Farm Balkfontein No. 224, as well as the farm Balkfontein No. 1213, located approximately 11km southeast of the town of Bothaville, in the Free State Province. The solar PV facility will comprise several PV arrays of PV panels and associated infrastructure and will have a contracted capacity of up to 100MW.
